i want to know why you started making music videos? was there a video that inspired you? or did you just one day buy a video card and started working on projects?

:: i wanted to make music video after i watched a video done by dunky. (_lie)

This belongs in General AMV. Anyway, I saw a bucn of AMVs back in 98 at AX while wandering around. I thought they looked really cool and I decided, Hell, I want to make one of those. AMVs that made me want to get more into it are some of Kevin's work, Vlad and Nic; I can't remember the AMVs and I'll post later when they come to me but I know it was work from each of them taht made me want to do it.

the same reason here except that I wanted to show off my skills which i have none but compared to my tech impaired friends seem excessive.

Yeah....but really, i learn how to make just because i can turn whatever project it is to the arts department at my college.

I had a homework assignment for a college class, the said to combine footage of some sort with sounds preferably music of some sort. So I combined Anime Footage with some anime music I had. Then I found out there was a whole world of AMVs, and contests and everything. I haven't stop since.

I just wanted something to do in-between projects... I love anime, love editing, what the hell. That, and it was the easiest thing I could do for a final in my Japanese class at the time, all those years ago...
