Some intresting things to fiddle with ...

Basically, I need to make an AMV that isnt exactly plot driven or over the top with effect. basically a good ol' fashioned fight video is in order however I am torn between 2 ideas and wonder if anybody might think one has more possibilites than the other?

Artificial Animal ~ I cant describe how big a fan I am of the Homunculi from FMA. More so than Ed, Al, "and the rest" I think the black glad Sin-groupies rock. So, in homage to their misserable and twisted existence I wanted to use the song "Animal I Have Become" by 3 Days Grace. the vid is really just a small summary of each Humunculi's power and the angst felt by greed, lust, wrath, sloth, and even Gluttony. <__< ... Envy is just bonkers! Envy needs no tears when he can twirl and punch people! :3

The King of the Vampires ~ I ALSO love Hellsing and, well, if you notice in the TV series and the OVA you never 'hear' him called dracula .... but you KNOW! To that effect i think "You Know My Name" by Chros Cornell would be snazzy! the songs tone is kind'a sad but has good beats for gun scenes and would be fun ( for me at least ) to watch

Any idea which one sounds more promiseing, or mabye a diffrent song?

I don´t like Three days grace and in the last time there where too many pointless FMA AMVs aroud here at the org or me.

So take the second idea, but:
"The King of Vampires" ---> a really trashy title^^
Also if you use this song, than DON`T make an average one vs. one fighting amv. Really don´t. Nobody would know about the original meaning of the amv (the real name of Alucard). So mix it up with the OVAs, because the story is more deep. Put into words like: "King" "Monster" "Dracula"... in slight creepy ways like into the mirror or with blood painted onto walls.
That would bring out your idea, but not "oh no not again" -one vs. one- fighting amv.

The Hellsing notion got me thinking about something else entirely - creature hunters. I'd think when I said 'fight' video I meant more of a fast adrenaline song/video combo. Looking at the anime I have the titles I think applicable would be ---

Hellsing ( OVA and TV )
Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust
Blood the Last Vampire
Chrono Crusade
Trinity Blood

The song I'd like to use would be Powerman 5000's "Drop the Bombshell" for the purpose of it's lyrics and fast beat.

Now the mentioning of words in the video has got me thinking "Whisper of the Beast" where things like 'pain', 'agony', and 'suffering' are imposed over the images via keyframeing/photoshop

I think thats an awsome notion and is one I am certainly going to experiment with.

As a simple "place holder title" I am useing FLEAKS which is a hellsing engrish/'joke' on the word FREAK which the author uses
