Here's Some Bones to throw out there

Post by 8bit_samurai » Thu Aug 10, 2006 6:43 pm

here are some ideas i had for an amv, but then im unable to work on them due to my third generation hand me down laptop's dvd drive not workin, im unable to work on them. anyway here they are:

trigun-i've seen better days (sublime)- when i was listenin to it, some trigun scenes came to me, and it suited some of the lyrics pretty well. pretty surprised to see this song wasnt used before

fma-lake of fire (nirvana)- when i listened to this first thing came to mind was colonel mustang's finger snapping, but then later on i thought it would suit scar better, due to some of the lyrics

paranoia agent- clint eastwood (gorillaz)-for some reason pa and gorillaz go together pretty well. for everytime i heard the chorus i saw lil slugger hittin one of his victims.

anyways those are just some ideas, anyone is free to use them any way they like, one way or another. i got others, but they're pretty far fetched and these ones are the best ones i got but unable to execute them. well, if they aint grabbed by the time i A.)get a new laptop and B.) get better video editting software i'll go ahead and take them, but most likely wont be until next year. just thought i'd throw some bones out there

You sure that's a Sublime piece? I've seen a Trigun AMV set to Citizen King's rendition.

sublime-i've seen better days

Post by 8bit_samurai » Fri Aug 11, 2006 7:37 pm

sublime sings it, just not sure if the the first to sing it, though. my brother use to have their self titled album and 40 oz to freedom and i used to borrow one of those and listen to it all the time back in the days (its in one of those albums). yea i'm still a noob here, still browsin through the library and stuff, never knew the song and trigun was already used. i just never crossed the song by sublime used. i'll check out the other one though, and cross out the idea. my bad.

im honored. i tip my hat towards ye. always glad to suggest things.

i just got another idea, although it seems the song is on the verge of bein overused (if not already), but here it is: bittersweet by apocalyptica and trigun, mainly focusin on vash's memories of rem. although it seems there's a crapload of sentimental and dramatic trigun songs out there, got two of em already. jst throwin another bone out there

i guess it's not important who sings it long as you have the song but still.. i coulda swore subliem didn't sing this... although it doesn't seem lyically like sumthin they would do...
