English Numa Numa Amv idea

Hello all. I am new to this site and video editing in general. For my first project I would like to do a numa numa AMV. Of course, I would be using the English version where the words center around Picasso painting his love for someone (When you leave my colors fade to grey, will my colors stay or will my colors fade away, every word of love I used to say now I paint it everyday). I was planning on basing it on the

However in doing this I didnt want to alienate the uninitiated or those who have not watched that far/missed that episode. A second restriction is that I do not know how to rip the episode from my DVD to my computer (its fined under audio and video folders) ANy suggestions?
