Ebn/Ozn-Bag Lady (I Wonder)
I saw the video for this song on VH1.com yesterday, and luckily, I was able to get an MP3 of it just a few minutes ago. It's a bit different from "AEIOU Sometimes Y". This one is actually sung, instead of just talking throughout.
LYRICS:
Through the New York winter
With rags around her feet
Clutching ancient shopping bags
Destitutions beat
Burned out like a frozen matchstick
Screaming at the wall
A helpless hungry lady
With no friends to call
Chorus:
I wonder
Where she goes when the night falls
What thunder
Has made us deaf to her calls?
Bag lady...
Oh gloveless, shattered frailty
The damp wind bites her hands
She shuffles by a restaurant
Towards their garbage cans
She eats the rotten refuse
Like vermin on the dead
Screaming at the passersby
"Get it through your heads!"
repeat chorus
Sometimes on my way to work
I give her my spare change
The Shopping Bag Lady
Looks at me like I'm strange
She never once says thank you
But I don't mind a bit
All these homeless people
Can't make no sense of it
repeat chorus
So what anime could suit it? Obviously something involving a homeless woman, but if there's no animes like that, what are the closest we can get?

You could search the internet using google or something. Otherwise, I think she fits pretty well. Have you seen any of Wolf's Rain? The characters have quite a few scenes of eating out of the garbage (especially when they're in they're wolf form) Her 'master' sort of abandons her and she's left alone until she finds some of the other wolves, who are also wandering homeless. I think it would work very well. Hope this helps.

Well, I can't really think of a good site to tell you, so if you wanted to know more about her you could search the web. Or, if you had any specific questions you could ask me and I'd be willing to look it up if I didn't know the answer. If at all possible you should try watching the show. It's got a great story, action...definitely a not a happy storyline though, but I don't think happy is what you're going for.

Yeah, but would you happen to at least know any individual episodes that would have good scenes for the video?gandy wrote:Well, I can't really think of a good site to tell you, so if you wanted to know more about her you could search the web. Sorry it took so long for me to reply ^^'
I looked up an episode guide and here are the episodes I could find.
9. Misgivings
One of the first with Blue, but I'm pretty sure she stays a dog/wolf for the whole episode.
12. Don't Make Me Blue
One of the first with Blue becoming a major character.
13. Men's Lament
Blue's owner searches for Blue, while she and the other wolves travel to rescue the Flower Maiden
21. Battle's Red Glare
Blue is a prisoner, along with some of the others
22. Pieces of a Shooting Star
Blue travels with Cher to find Cheza
23. Heartbeat of the Black City
Blue still travels with Cher (a human)
24. Scent of a Trap
Blue still traveling to help Cheza
25. False Memories
Blue meets up with Hige (the wolf she loves) and he talks about how he was used
26. Moonlight Crucible
Blue finds her master and finally convinces him that it wasn't wolves that destroyed his village (he had been hunting wolves for revenge, and wasn't too happy to find out his 'dog' was in fact part wolf herself)
*SPOILER* 30. Wolf's Rain
Blue dies
Here are the ones that said she was in them but didn't mention her in the summary, so I'm not sure how big of a part she played (I wish I had them on DVD to tell you myself for sure, but alas and alack, I do not)
14. The Fallen Keep
17. Scent of a Flower, Blood of a Wolf
18. Men, Wolves, and the Book of the Moon
29. High Tide, High Time
Once again, I hope this helps.
