What keeps you from quiting an amv?
I find that everytime I get this great inspiration for a video, it dissappears out of my head before I can finish it. Ive created a few videos but never finished them because half way I was like "WTF am i doing 0_o" Anyways my question is.. How do you keep your idea and finish a video?
I tried actually finishing a video and the begginging was good but the ending sucked horribly!
If helps any Ive been trying to use Full Metal Panic! *1st , 2nd and 3rd season* So i Have alot of acion humor to work with.
So Can anyone give me some ways they get crackin and go through with there ideas? What do you do to keep ur original idea. What keeps you from just sayins *screw this video !!!* and starting over...

I find it easiest if I don't give myself a chance to think "WTF am I doing". I just focus on the idea and not what it looks like from far off or how The Audience will take it or anything like that. Those concerns are for after it's done, or at least very close to completion.
In other words, get in the zone and stay there.
Caveats: I'm a terrible editor, and I've quit dozens of projects. In the last year and a half the latter has been better because I try not to start unless an idea really interests me and I really want to try it, without any doubt.

The thing is ive tried to write it down and I relook it overand thats where the "wtf" comes from. The thing is I start usually when I start listening to a song and the clips just flow away in my head, then half way through i forget what iw as going to use and the such.
I think the main thing is that im not self disciplined at all.. I think I might just cut myself off the net AND make sure I just edit away for a few hours see what comes out
Thanks every One... and as for the glock.. im not of legal age yet

that and I want to see the outcome of my labor.
I tend to think about my goal, and think about it again...and again...and again.
this helps keep my focus on the theme/general idea behind the amv.
I also go through each section multiple times to make sure the flow is smooth (relatively) and that I stick to my theme

By the time I actually get around to putting fingers to the keyboard and start editing, I've gone over it in my head so much that it's going to get completed no matter what.
If nothing else I need to free up some brain space so that I'm not thinking about it all the time. Multiply that by about ten unedited concepts and for me it's easy to keep from quitting on an AMV project.
