Question

Post by Derosian » Sat Dec 31, 2005 10:31 pm

I hate making this my first post on the forum, but it is my question and after using the search function and looking around for a bit, I couldn't find anything related to my question.

Well if you already know where someone has posted a similar thread please just link me up.

Basically where do you start when your making your music videos, do you start with an idea then look for music and videos that apply, or do you start with a song you really like, or even an anime. Although Ive tended to notice that fan animes are not half as good. (( Using subs instead of Raws and such. )) Anyway, so just say what you feel, and uh if you have any extra advice on the making of said videos just post a little something.

Since you said it nicely, ill link you nicely to the guides on how to make a movie. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/
As for inspiration, i suggest picking up that mouse and dvd decrypter and just start adding clips to different parts of music. after a while it will come to you. with a little polishing you will fit right in here.

This has been posted a few times before. I can't remember the titles or I'd get the links.
Basically everybody has a different way to get inspired. If you've ever found yourself listening to a song and imagining the music to anime then you're mostly there. (making imaginary videos in your head) After that, it's just putting whats in your head into the form of a video. Everything else is just details on making that happen. (ripping disks, timing audio etc etc.)
