Looking for an anime with an abused woman theme

I'm cooking up something in my head. Is there an anime where a woman gets abused/killed by a man and then another man who cared/loved her takes revenge for her?

The only thing that I can kinda think of is "Cowboy Bebop", but that's a big big strecth for the song I have picked. Thanks.

Well, there's Revolutionary Girl Utena. Anthy tends to get abused (and stabbed in the movie), and Utena protects her/takes revenge. Of course, Utena is also female, so I'm not sure if it would work for your purposes.

Offcourse we also have berserk, but that part is mostly left out of the serie and is a whole lot more detailed in the manga.

Most hentai feature abuse put rarely revenge. The only one that seems relevent is Professor Pain (though you'll have to selectively cut parts of it).

Nah x isnt hentai....just some booby shots. If u need hentai type things go with hot for teacher, but i wouldnt know anything about that

I agree X is good for what your looking for and I also think that in Ruroni Kenshin with the episode you meet Megumi in the first season and she gets abused.. Kenshin and the others come to her rescue but she doesn't die (obviously) so I don't know if that suits your fancy

Elfen Lied I know has an extreme brutal beating of this girl in the first dvd... >>;; I'm not sure about revenge, though, but she fights this other girl for her master and gets basically diced into tons of pieces... It's sad as hell..
