Same Scene Scenerio..

Post by Arctic_Alchemist » Sun Oct 30, 2005 3:10 pm

Is it just me or does it seem that certain scenes get used WAY to much in anime?

Some ones off the top of my head.. I notice in gundam wing endless waltz there is a scene where hero pilots.. I believe it was a leo and wufei is in his gundam.. Every Gundam Anime music video I see with gundam wing.. that one seems to pop up..

Then in Naruto.. I can't count how many times I have seen the scene where Sasuke goes demon.. Naruto goes demon and they fly at eachother..

There are alot of others out there.. I am not saying these are bad scenes.. infact they are used because they are good..

But, it seems these scenes in particular are way over used..

Yea, certain scenes get used quite often for a variety of reasons. Maybe they are very well animated and thus work nicely in a music video. Maybe they are just very memorable scenes, and when people imagine their videos, that scene comes to mind for them. Or perhaps people have just seen a lot of videos that use that scene, and so that scene gets stuck in their head, and ends up going in their own video...

people like the pretties, and they usually use some of the "strongest emotion" scenes... makes the effect stronger

What if the only anime left on earth to use was Akira? or any other short movie or OVA?

Why so negative?

Personally, I'd find a way to still be original with it. Even if that meant I had to simply take the same old scenes and show them upside down

Oh.

But not liking it doesn't mean you can't make good AMVs with it, hmm
