Looking for a clip in a GHIBLI movie

Hey I was hoping someone could help me out with a problem I have

I need just one single shot of a BELL, as in ding-dong -> from a ghibli movie of any kind - all 12 or 14 of them I don't care even Castle of Cogliostro, I'll go out and buy it if I don't have it

I've been watching through the ones I have, but havn't seen one yet, but I am pretty dumb with these sorts of things, so I may have missed one.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds pretty obscure. What ones do you have? Maybe we can find it process of elimination.

why does it need to be ghibli? I think I saw a Cardcaptor Sakura vid with a large liberty bell sized bell... beleive it was in the movie. Do you need a big bell or a little bell like one you'd use to play with cats, btw?

It has to be Myazaki (I know I spelled that wrong)

I'm going to be going for a direct lyric synch so even a doorbell or any other sort of bell would be fine, but a church bell would be best.

Look I have several Ghibli movies (and CoC), I dunno 8 or so, but if someone can tell me JUST ONE scene of a church bell in any Myazaki movie I will go out and buy it before you can say 'hot flash'

Also if anyone can help me I would be so fucking grateful.....I don't know what I would do, but if it was something it would RULE

If I recall correctly, Howl's Moving Castle has a few scenes with a smaller bell. Only thing is that I'm not sure when exactly the US DVD release is scheduled for.

Damn I don't think it will be out for a while - and I was hoping to finish the video by the end of the year.

Thanks for the tip anyway though- might be a good back-up plan

Well, the R2 (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/(simple,mint)/ ... =VWDZ-8076) is released in Japan in mid-November, though it'll cost a bit more to import. Anyhow, hope you can find what you're looking for.

Kiki's Delivery Service has some bells. Right near the beginning, they're in the trees around Kiki's house and ring when she smacks into the tree.

Do you mean her house where her parents live, or where she moves once she gets to the big city? I dont suppose you could find me a timestamp? Itd totally make my day
