How often has this happend to you?
Someone has watched one of your videos and the thought the anime looked worth seeing and they started watching it? How big a compliment do you consider this?
I personally consider it a huge compliment and like it when people say that. And it's happened to me twice, once for Lain and once for Blue 6.

On the flip side, there's also the cautionary video, which endeavors to keep people away from a given show.
Case in point: Fluxy's "Psychological Damage" which speaks out about the atrocities of Big Wars.

It's happened to me a couple of times with Memories and once with Love Hina and I take it as a huge compliment.

I do love that. Ive had several people go out and buy Soultaker after they saw my video. Truely a wonderfull feeling.
What I enjoy far more though, is when they said that they had never heard of a band/song untill my video, and the now own the CD thanks to my video that exposed them to it. Makes me feel like Im doing my part for the artist that (unknowingly) lent his/her music to my video.
Ive recieved a ton of emails telling me how much they now enjoy Citizen Cope after they watched my Appetite vid. *joy*
Any way, thats my 2 cents

Hmm, I guess I should speak up more when videos make me think that, because it happens relatively often. (I do tend to d/l videos for series I don't know if I like the song. :p)
Anyhow, no, never happened to me, of course. Though I think someone said I made Star Ocean look neat...unfortunately the CG in the clips I used appears in approx. 10% of the game, so I wouldn't want them to believe that.
