The moral of the story is this: The boy is the org. The water is the rules. And you are the frog. Remember when AIM was the standard for the ORG's chat? That was slyly replaced with a more convienient to control system on IRC. Apparently HORDES of REGULARS were complaining that there were TONS of NOOBS plaguing the AIM room and irritating the clientele. Utter bullshit. It's just one more easily placed rule that grows with each new person that joins this increasingly dilapidated community.
It's not that I'd prefer AIM to anything, but I would prefer anything to IRC. A lot of the people who request help end up littering the forum boards because they can't find a way into IRC to begin with. As well, IRC killed all interesting live communication in the org altogether. Everything took a shitdive after that channel opened and was championed before you all. And with that, I give you some anti-#AMV propaganda. Enjoy.
