A question, maybe already answered ;)
Me and Hinatasan are thinking to create a studio, now in my head are appeared some questions:
Creating the Studio, my idea was to create an account for it, posting our videos here, this because I would like to avoid to put the studio in my profile, for the main purpose of don't let think that all my videos borned within it, because our studio will not be a one that simply cooperate with ideas and footage but a studio where every video is done by us. So, is this correct to do?
And the main question that born from the other one.. The videos we will probably do one day on that account, should they put as collaborators ours original profiles or not? (I know it is not obbligatory of course, this is more an "etic" question)
Thanks for your time and sorry for the probably n00b questions

Sierra and I regret making that joint account... you shouldn't make a separate account like we did. We only did that because the collaboration system wasn't out yet. It's annoying to have it, and it caused a lot of problems (like in the 2004 VCA, Bounty Hunters was nominated for Best First Video because it was the first video in our joint account, when it actually wasn't our first video).Or we should do like this video comment?

Just use the collaboration system for videos that you collaborate on and list both of your profiles in the same studio. I don't really see what the problem is.

How? Sorry if I ask this^^Just use the collaboration system for videos that you collaborate on and list both of your profiles in the same studio. I don't really see what the problem is.
And, what's the problem.. Oh well sincrely I find this a good question XP mine maybe is that if I put a studio in my profile I'll be unable to show that I'm in it only after all my "old" videos, and that all my nexts will be only by me and only the ones with collaborations will be of the studio (Oh my god I hope to be clear because I nearly don't understand myself). Maybe I'm only in error saying all this things!
Sorry for the trouble

I don't think that there's a way to make it so that only your new videos show your studio name, but to get both of you in the same studio, all you do is make a new studio in "Edit My Profile", then get Hinatasan to choose the studio you made in her "Edit My Profile" page. And it looks like you know how to use the collaboration system since your Darkness over Light video has both of your names listed.
I don't think you'll be able to only list your collaborations with your studio name, but I don't think you should worry about it.

When a new video is created, its "studio name" defaults to whatever production group the creator is currently listed as being a member of (on his/her member page), or none if the creator is studio-less.silver_moon wrote:I don't think that there's a way to make it so that only your new videos show your studio name...
Changing a creator's production group will not change the studio names of any of his/her previous videos (else VoR's videos wouldn't still show up under 6 different studio names); to change those, you have to go edit the video entries themselves.
