AMV Tutors?!
Okay, I know there are guides and stuff and have read some of them, but there are some people out there that might be to impatient to read the guides, or might not understand them. So for those reasons or others do you think it would be a good idea to have a place on the site where AMV creators offer themselves as tutors?

I'm pretty sure there already are those forums.
Just depends on where you look and if you ask politely enough people will help. Most of the Video forums have questions about compression and some effects. So if you have a question try searching it up before you post
And I think AbsoluteDestiny put somewhere in the guide to email him for help.

well technically... if you goto the chat room and ask for help, usually someone there will gladly assist with any questions/problems... the main reason the guides are there in the first place is because a lot of us don't want to "tutor" anyone. after so long, helping people over and over gets tirsome and almost not worth it (especially if the person asking for help hasn't read/understands the guides
). if your too lazy to read and try to understand the guides, then it's really hard for anyone to really "tutor" you.
everything in those guides will help you become a better editor so not reading them isn't exactly a good idea. with any hobby you have to put some work into it. if you hobby was building and flying remote control airplanes, you don't just buy the kit/parts and start putting it to gether... you have to read and understand how a plane flies and also need to read the kits instructions so you know how to build it. you don't just goto the main remot control aircraft community asking them "I'm too lazy to learn how to fly these things, can someone come to my house and show me how it's done... i also don't know how to build them, so can you show me". when someone starts talking about all the many different parts that make up one of these kits: throttle, alerons, elevator, rudder, etc, and you don't know what they are taking about, you are just making it worse.
read the guides and learn about video, how video and video editing works, then try it out. if you hit a snag, ask for help, you'll be much better off that way then confusing yourself and any "Tutor" trying to help you
