Road music?

I'm using footage from Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 7: Advent of Children, Burn Out 3, Half Life2, Halo 2, etc.

And I've been basically taking footage from the vehicle scenes, like in final fantasy 7 <cloud and the Shinra motorcycle>, halo 2<the jeep combat scenes>, Burnout 3 <the crazy crashes and the stunts in slow motion>, Half Life 2 <the dune buggy first person mode while killing the aliens>

And its pretty intense so far, and its like one of them promo vids basically that i've got intended for this convention held by this certain internet community, and...

So far tying the footage together is working really well, its just i need more music selections for the vid; mainly because it, the vid itself will be displayed on a projector upon the cieling in the gaming room where some of the tournaments will be held, and i need a large variety of music that is i guess

"road-based" lol that will go with it. The vid itself will probably not be posted on this site, but i will have a link to it from this forum soon. This video as with others will be repeated with different selections of music as the tournies are going for like a 30 minute period, and i need as many "road-based" tunes as possible! anything pleaz! i have the income to download the songs, just give me some names pleaz!

I think "Fiend" by Orgy has some road feel to it.....

Also, "eyes-radio-lies" by Orgy.

Try Filter's "The best things" (part of the Driven soundtrack)

Crystal Methods (Just a little too slow, Road enough for you? it was on the need4speed underground soundtrack)

Actually Hell Just look @ racing games soundtrack selections They usually do a good job in doing things like that since Grand turismo1. you'll find tons of good tracks

Both are these very aggressive, strong instrumentals and there's a lot of versions of them. The reason for the naming similarity is that I think they're both based on the same music structure, except VROOOM VROOOM is sorta flipped and has a bit more 'speed' so to say, whereas VROOOM has nicer musical contrasts if you want to provide some cool transitions to non-action scenes every once in a while (personally, I'd go with that one for dramatic effect).

And the lyrics only get better. If there more more agressive drivers in Initial D like the guy in Season 1 I'd so use this song, but the drivers aren't usually trying to kill each other in that. eX-Driver would work far better, but I don't own it...

anything agressive seems to be working so far, um i just got my old collection of cds out and i'm trying that offspring song, and i will see to downloading the other songs if i can't find them in my stack of cds.
