AMV Bumpers with music- why?
Been a long time since I created a discussion thread... Anyways.
Some people have AMV bumpers. You know, the "so and so studios" or "This is a me production". Those are cool.
But other people have pumpers accompanied by a small snip of music.
Now that's cool, but I have a few questions.
Why did you pick the song you did? Was it because it sounds cool and you like it, or does it have some type of other meaning to your production/studio?
Is it always the same song, or part of a song, or does it change depending on the video?
Just wanted to know a little about why you guys pick the songs you do for your bumpers. ^_^

Anyways, does that mean you're very interested in pumpers?
Excuse my foray into the absurd; I fully blame Swedish radio stations.
Haven't seen these pumpers, err, bumpers in the org but on their sites many have them.
Some change them a lot (the music) so I guess some like the feeling of the song.
Or rather the feelings the music invokes in them, maybe even feeling identified with it.
Know I’ve felt that way.
Damn those Final Fantasy Midis.
When my site is up & running, I'll use Excel Saga songs.

Don't watch my latest AMV... Not that I used Phill Collins but anyway...DaPatches wrote:meh, most of the time I hate bumpers with music. Sometimes they throw off the feel of a video. Like, If you had a bumber with a strong techno-y beat but then went into a phil collins song in your video....completely throws it off 0.o

Never mind my earlier post; I was talking about another matter.
Some of the intros are "cool" albeit extremely distracting.
Seem to recall Jessmaster’s (think that’s the name) intro to some of his videos.
You almost thought the video had already started in a weird way.
