Banners (Again)

Well, normally I'm not the kind of person to post this, but this has really been bothering me lately. It's mostly in regard to those banners that have shown up numerous times with the large number of hits and low number of opinions given. Not only are the statistics in those posts completely inaccurate, but they have absolutly no humor or visual interest at all. I mean, I know people nowadays are angry with the opinion system and everything, and I know there was a thread earlier talking about that feature in regard to the banners, but this is really starting to tick me off. What is the point of sending in the same banner over and over again? It's not original after you see like 10 with the same topic. What happened to originality with the banners?

Also, just as a side note, am I the only one who seems to have dejavu when seeing some of the banners? Do people just submit one banner more than once or something? Because I know I've seen some of them before, voted "unworthy" for them, and then see them a few days later in the "new" list again. One of the ones I've seen maybe 6 times now is that "Watch AMV's, Leave Opinions, Pet Kittens" one. I'm just curious about why this is.

The banners are confirmed by moderators and it's very possible that a person could submit the same banner again and have it confirmed by a different moderator.

There's nothing we can do about people submitting the same banners except have one person validate the banners and hope that person has a perfect memory.

I've seen the ones you're talking about and sad to say, they are all slightly different. Variations on a (crappy) theme; But yes, there are differences.
