Typical Have a song, need anime post

So I'm listening to some new music I was advised to check out, and I ran into Demon Hunter's "My Heartstrings Come Undone), from the album Summer of Darkness, and will be on the upcoming Resident Evil: Apocalypse Soundtrack. The song actually hit me kind of hard because the lyrics relate heavily to a relationship I have with a friend... to put it in Kare Kano terms, we're "more than friends, not quite lovers" which is mainly due to circumstance... anyway, I'm inspired to do a dedication video to this song but I can't think of an anime that would fit. Anyone have any ideas? Lyrics are as followed

Sounds sort of like Kimi ga Nozomu Eien... but not completely, but that's the best I can do, I think.

Sort of Haruka/Takayuki stuff, or it could even work with Mitsuki/Takayuki.

Or maybe even RahXephon: the movie (haven't seen the TV series).

That sounds a lot like Kanon. I can't explain why or even name the specific characters without giving away massive spoilers, but once you see it, you'll understand why.

I've seen Kanon IcyCloud, and completely agree with you. A legit, good quality source might be hard to come by though... thanks though. Really good idea.

Also that's bubble, though I have yet to see either Anime (well, seen the first 5 episodes of the Rah Xephon TV series). I'll definetly check them out though.
