Your Favorite Non-Anime Video

Post by mexicanjunior » Sun Jun 20, 2004 3:22 pm

Something I posted on Hypeo that I thought would be good here...

Post your favorite non-anime video (live action or other). I know they aren't allowed on the org database, so a website or link to grab it would be cool. Here is mine, it's a live action video I found on Kazaa by someone at ESPN. They took some really moving sports images and put it to "Dream On" by Aerosmith. I watch it at least once a day and it could be my favorite vid of all time. I get all choked up and teary eyed everytime I view it...

Ok, your turn folks... :o

Call me weird, but I have a massive amount of love for this little video:

Requiem by 1/JG54

It's from a recent flight simulator title, 'IL-2 Sturmovik', and I always thought it was surprisingly sad and not lacking emotion at all - for a video that is composed pretty much only of flying WWII airplanes!
I think I'll make a movie from this game, one day...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

They do a similar vid at the end of every year and broadcast it on the year's last episode of SportsCenter. They're all pretty goddamned fantastic, but what else can you expect from ESPN?
