Ever felt you've topped out? Done the best you'll ever do?
As a creator, do you ever think that you've peaked? Topped out? That after you've finished a video that you've just done the best you can and wont be able to do any better?

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Do you mean in popularity or in overall quality?
Quality wise, I’ve honestly never felt that way. I can always pick out about a 1000 things wrong with the video I just made (well, not exactly wrong, just things that could stand for some improvement), plus all the great info I get on some of the ops I receive, so thus far, it's never felt to me that I can't go any higher.
As far as popularity goes, I do sometimes think I’ve peaked. Not all the time, but some times, it feels like Appetite is the only video I’ve made as far as the public is concerned, which is a little disheartening at times. Fortunately I have Beo, Fluxy and the rest of my forum, not to mention all the people who give me all their feedback, so that always helps me get over that mental hump pretty fast.

Yeah, about a year ago. But I'm still enjoying it, so I don't mind.
That, and if anyone is paying so much attention to my track record that they're weighing each video and worrying that I'm slipping in quality... they're taking it way more seriously than I am.
(And that's not just because I'm a nobody editor - seriously, if you worry about it that much you need to relax.)

eh, no. I'm not that great, or even technically proficient. So I can improve, at least technically. And I have been improving. To tell you the truth, I'm in no great hurry to reach that point. I think it might be depressing, actually.

Whenever I release a video, its always the absolute best I could make at the time. It usually takes about 2 weeks of constant watching for me to start finding flaws but I always do. They flaws get fewer and farer between with every video, but nothing is flawless.
As far as popularity goes, I've got one video according to most people here. I bums me out bit time but when I edit my current video which is already better than HTTT it cheers me up. But I still think even though its going to be a better video, theres no way its going to be more popular which is a shame.
Hail to the Theif = 10.2k hits
NBK = 3.5k hits
My latest video almost has as many hits as my entire previous catalouge combined. Aint that some shit
Now if I were to make 4 or 5 more videos, each with about 500 hits, then I'd start to feel down. But currently, you can't blame people for liking your latest and greatest.
