Where can i find a set of rules for lyrics language?
I've searched the forum and can't find any mention of what is acceptable for the music lyrics. what are the rules for them? is cursing allowed? can I use a song that has a little cursing? How much is considered too much?

well, its probaly just bein something thats overlooked. but generaly things should be ok as long as its not extensive swearing and realy screwe'd up lyrics like infight music (by d12) .

Thanks, i've got a couple of ideas using ICP (For those nonjuggalos out there, that's Insane Clown Possie) music and I needed to know if I could post them. 
One other thing, I'm gonna be using new software, Magiks Movie editor pro 2004, I havn't had a chance to install it tho', has anyone used it before? howed you like it?

i used movie maker (the previos version of that movie editor pro) a while ago, and it was realy good. nice set of effects, transitions. not too hard to use (though i did only try the demo) and the sexiest gui of any vid editor ever. its also got a greate sound editor. ant to top it off, compared to things like premier and vegas, its realy cheap (only about $99)

There is a rule that says you can't use any music or images or anything whatsoever related the Insane Clown Posse in anyway shape or form.
The rule is "Do it and I'll come over to your house and beat the living shit out of you with a baseball bat, sodomize you with it, and set you on fire tied to a steak with all your ICP periphenalia at your feet on fire as well" rule.

practise, ALOT. ive only realeased 3 of my amv's but ive made alot more, most just for practising. the more ya make the beter ya get. also, spend alot of time learning to use your video editor. try to learn as much as ya can about it and read the help files. also, watch alot of amv. watch good ones and watch bad ones. and read the guides on this site.javan wrote:Kool, Thanks. any advice on how to get things working right? it will be my first AMV, and I want it to be good.
