AMV almost done - need ONE FINAL Scene!

I am just about DONE with an AMV I have had cookin' for more than a YEAR.

All I need to compete it is a scene with a military character known from a
comedy series (someone like FMP's Sagara Sousuke, or Lt. Yamamoto from
Irr. Capt. Tylor to give you starters - ) who salutes STIFFLY in an overly-formal
way (which will be part of the comedy effect.)

Thing is, the character in the scene should be:
- Easy to identify quickly (so, a major character)
- be shown from at least mid-thigh on up to the head during the salute,
without a pan-up
- be facing the camera dead on
- Camera point of view level with the character's height, not
from above or below.

Can anyone pinpoint a series and episode that comes to mind?

This guy will be compsited in front of the four characters saluting in Gundam 08
"Miller's Report," so maybe some other Gundam character might do, but I'd
prefer a funny guy who gets the pratfalls because he tries to be overly regimented
in his actions. (Bart from Vandread ep 1 or 2?)

It cannot be a female because it will be fitted to a male's voice.
