I've been doing trailers like mad recently, I've completed 3 since december and I should have a 4th up at the end of this week. (Appleseed vs S.W.A.T.) However I've recently had a little apifiny, I saw the freakin' light and it was good. A trailer idea that was simply spectacular and would flow so well it was frightning. I'm not going to say what the idea is right now since I fear it not materializing or worse someone doing the idea before me and then me comiting ritual suicide.
However, I'm going to need some AE work done and I have no skills in AE, I was hopeing that someone would be willing to volenteer their services. Most of the work will revolve around seperating a character from their background and then making the background do some 'warpy stuff'. If there's anyone out there who would like to volenteer for this task, I'd greatly appreciate it. Of course, if anyone does join me I will tell them what the project will be. Hah.

Anyways Izumi, You should learn how to do it on your own. If you just get other people to do your work for you, you never learn anything. Here's an AE guide I wrote that can help you get started: http://www4.ncsu.edu/~baclontz/aftereffectstutorial.zip
To do what you want, all you have to do it:
1. Duplicate your video layer.
2. Apply some effect on the back layer.
3. Draw a mask around the character on the top layer.
