Teh dan m Overalays!
I hate overlays. I'm sitting here studying Koop's video for teh thousandth time, trying to get how he put them in there. At one point in the beginning of the video, I have more then 4 overlays going at once.
How many did Koop have during each second in the video? I know there was at least one going all the time.

Why not be?
I admire someone who wants something and really tries hard for it.
Thats something awesome.
Besides... if he makes something cool out of shear will to be number 1.
Then I'm all for it, whatever modivates you. Use it.

I'm just saying... that if I made a video to be number one I would feel empty. And if that video failed horribly then I would feel even worse. When editing, the editor should come first, not the fans. Not to mention
I'm sure there are greater things to become number one in. Editing anime to music for a small community can only get you so far.

Anyway.
As to the whole number 1 thing. The only video I've ever made, that went on to become pretty popular was to treasure.
And since i've realized that in things I do, I make music videos for myself.
But everyone has a diffrent way of doing things.
Koop still makes amv's.

Hey dude, it may not matter to you, but I dream about being in Koop and AD's position. I wanna win the VCA and participate in Cons.Corran Productions wrote:Why are you so adament about being number one?
Also, I wanted a program you can actually DO something with. Roxio Video 7 just isn't cutting the mustard.

*rubs his eyes*
Any video program can make anything.
If you use overlays like koop did, it's as easy as the cut - invis white - and paste in mspaint.

My intention is not to have you stop what you are doing but to reflect on why you are doing it. If you create such a great AMV I will no doubt download it and applaud your editing ability for I am a huge fan of amvs. As long as the outcome and process brings you joy then go for it.Pyle wrote:Hey dude, it may not matter to you, but I dream about being in Koop and AD's position.
