Anybody make a music video for a band?

Not sure where to post this or if this question has been asked before, but I'd like to know if anybody has ever made a music video for a local band or your own band (I know a couple of you are in one)?

I'm curious how you all went about doing it.
Production-wise, budget, did you have a creative script or simply film the band performing on stage?

Thats been an idea of mine for a couple months. My main goal is to get into filmmaking and I've had a couple ideas such as that and a skatevideo that I need to put into production one of these days. I suspect it'd be fairly easy. You could make a decent one on a computer with just a camera and the audio track. Ex: Leave it Alone by NOFX Not much to the video although I'm sure they actually had good camera equipment and an actual editing studio, but it could be easily replicated with practicly no budget.

I did a video of my own band and I'm working on one for my new band, do you mean live, or as in anime? Or perhaps both?

I'm working on an anime one for a band as a personal favor to a friend who does the piano for the band who's also an anime voice actor/director.

I wish I had friends who enjoy AMVs around here
