Help with Tenchi in Tokyo and Tenchi in general

I am contemplating making a sappy-crap Tenchi vid. Not in the immediate future (I first need an editworthy computer, then I have MMEP obligations to fulfill, then a couple comedy-ish vid ideas I want to work on first), but at some point I want to do it. However, there is one scene that I know I want to use in the video, but I do not own Tenchi in Tokyo and I have no interest in buying the whole thing (even given that it was editted down for Toonami when I saw it, it left me grossly unimpressed).

I may make a screencap from Pain of Ryoko's Heart, where I first saw the scene, to show the specific part I want, but in Tenchi in Tokyo (or at least my understanding is that it is in Tenchi in Tokyo, all I know for sure is that it is not in the Tenchi Muyo OVAs or discs 1-3 and 8 of Tenchi Universe) there is a scene where Tenchi and Ryoko walk through a park at night, and Ryoko holds Tenchi's hand. He kind of looks at her in surprise, and she gives him a quiet, meaningful look.

Anyone know which disc of Tenchi in Tokyo I can find this scene on? Also, anyone know of any other good romancey scenes in Tenchi in Tokyo, and which discs I can find them on? I am looking at you, Garylisk. ;P

I believe the scene where they hold hands is from the episode 10 "Ryoko's Big Date".

I'm almost 100% sure on that. And if yer looking for romantic scenes for Ryoko/Tenchi, there are LOTS of them! The very last episode of the Tenchi in Tokyo series has a scene where Tenchi and Ryoko almost kiss.

Yup. I agree with that. I like the OVA and the Unverise saga MUCH better! I hated Sakuya! DIE, SAKUYA!

Yukina, are there any other specific episodes you can think of off hand besides ep 10 and the ending episode?

Or I could just look up an episode summarry and stop being a lazy shit, I guess... ;P

There is a scene in the Tenchi Universe Special, Adventures in Time and Space that is kind of like that. They are wearing 50's circa clothes and Ryoko takes Tenchi's hand in the same way you described. I haven't watched the Tenchi in Tokyo series but I know of that date. It ended with Tenchi being a real Jerk I believe....kissing Sakuya

The scene that was described in Time and Space Adventures (that would be the fourth disc, the third episode on the disc) was pretty much as follows. Ryoko is dragging Tenchi along with her and Aeka is trying to get him away. Tenchi is humoring Ryoko to some extent, but voices his concerns towards the end. Ryoko is hit pretty hard by this and takes some time to think about it. It actually ends really nicely and (as I recall) they hold hands when Washu terminates the alternate reality.

You could also try to pull some of the drama out of the climax of the Tenchi Universe series, where Ryoko puts her life on the line to get Tenchi to Jurai. There aren't any particularly visual scenes that lend themselves well, but the feeling is incredible. It would work well if edited well.
