Utena+ "Anarchy in the Uk"?

*waves* Hi there, I'm a newbie and I've been bouncing this idea around for.. oh, about a hour now. :p Does anyone think that it'd be possible to do a video to "Anarchy in the UK" by the Sexpistols to Utena? (either the tv series or the movie.. or both, really). Part of me thinks it could work (the whole "anarchy"/"revolution" theme) and part of me thinks that it couldn't (because using the footage of the duels in the chorus would be boring after the 3rd clip :p).
Any thoughts? Is this a good idea, or should I forget about it?

Heh... have you seen the series? It's not about a literal revolution, and I have no idea what you mean by anarchy...

That said, anything is possible to make, literally speaking - so the answer would be yes, it is physically possible to do that.

It would definitely take a different tack than most SKU vids out there.

(Me, I'm with the Beatles' "Revolution 9" if you're going for obvious lyric matches. I was thisclose to doing a parody vid with it, but good taste won out. ^_~)

Well, seeing as there's no sex pistols vids yet, that may be a good idea, although I don't really see the link between utena and Anarchy.

Saying that, I'm hoping to do a comedy video of Sailor Moon (as princess Serenity) to Sex Pistols' "God Save The Queen"

Good luck with it. It sounds like it could work.

yeh the revolution in Utena is a matter of boy versus girl, she's a prince y'know? Finding oneself etc. As far as sex pistols, cool do it! hehe

eh. ive heard the song and seen RGU, and i just dont think it will work. a sex pistols vid needs to be done at some point, but i just dont think it will work with utena. sorries.
