Post by The Dark Otaku » Tue Dec 23, 2003 2:59 am

hello I'm Dark im new here I've made a few AMVs in the past. I'm a freelance AMV creator. i started making them about 3 months ago. my cousen showed me this site. I have to say im impressed, this is a very good site and the creators do great work. so far ive done about 4 AMVs one i already uploaded. I don't have the courage to do anymore, i wanna see how my first one turns out. Sence I'm new here i don't really know anyone and i wanna meet some people.

in short: Da' N00b sez hi

ya know. ive seen people that have a load of their amv's on thier site, i i go over a (boradband blessed) freinds house, dl some of them and my god they all suck. encoding was crap, they had subtitles in their amv's, the audio/video was barely synced, and the whole thing just sucked. anyway, to make sure you dont turn out like that, show a few people that are offline first. freinds, relatives, i even show'd my first one to my art and drama taechers. and when your making an amv and the whole time youve got this realy great feelinjg that the amv kicks ass, thats generaly a good sign

aww man then i gotta redo the one i just did
it was a Rurouni Kenshin the epasode with Anji
i used REM - losing my religion
i desided on the subtitled one because it conveyed more of a point to my friends who havent seen the epasode (no cable or internet)
it makes more sense in that way i think
exessive subtitle use is kinda lame but i think it dose more of a Psych
frag when you understand whats going on
many ppl havent seen the epasodes and if the AMV dosent explain they just get lost
but thats just me

I'd say this is the wrong forum, but since the RIGHT one has gone away, and I don't care anymore, and yeah!

More power to you, noob.
I'm out...
