2 Stupid Questions from a bloody newbie.
And chances are I'm going to get flamed because I didn't look hard enough
Anyway I'm reviewing videos and I came across a few things that puzzled me
1. Digital Effects: Would I rate on this if someone went out of their way to add something to a video that is not in the original Anime?
2. My Personal Video Rank: Is this out of 10 or 100?
Thanks

I don't see why you've been perfectly nice. Anyway on to attempting to answer your questions.Rurouni Wolfpac wrote:And chances are I'm going to get flamed because I didn't look hard enough

1. I'm not really sure what your asking here... basically digital effects are anything that alters the original source. People tend to only notice them when they are rather blantant or obvious. Like lens flares etc... Some people put a lot of effort into effects. I tend to rate them on how well they are done and if they improve the video rather than detract from it.
2. I believe this is out of a 100... since I myself have gone past 10

Yup, for the first question, the digital effects would basically be transitions and things that fall in that area. And for the second questions, i think its up to 100, not too sure though, ill have to check on that. Dont worry about asking questions, but make sure that u look around so that everyone wont be all up in ur case. 8)

Except for cuts and crossfades. According to the helpful little "?" popup when adding or editing a video, crossfades don't count as digital effects for the purposes of checking off the Digital Effects box, so I doubt they're supposed to count for opinion purposes either.Jonathan02us wrote:Yup, for the first question, the digital effects would basically be transitions and things that fall in that area.
