I have a question for all you AMV Creators. I know everyone has different styles in making AMV. but I just want to know what's the most effective way in making a AMV for other creators? (Yes I did RTFG) Like as for I. E when making AMV do edit different selections and at the end just synchronize them? Or do you like just start to edit from the beginning to end.
Because what I am thinking of doing is to edit this AMV i got in mind. The chorus will be type complicated to edit. So I want to finish the chorus first and then start editing from the beginning. What do you guys think?
Should i edit the chorus first? or

edit how ever you want, eventually any mistakes or dislikes in the method chosen will be corrected.

Exactly. There isn't a "way" to edit to a song. It's however you come up with the idea. If you have something intricate you need to work out for the chorus, maybe you should edit the chorus first and work on the verses later. Or, if you don't have an idea for the chorus yet, work on the rest of the video. Try and formulate a theme. After editing a while, you'll be able to work out a process that will apply to all of your videos.

Well, I've only done one video but, First I came up with the idea/theme of the whole thing, and started editing. I started from the beginning of the song and would look through footage that fit certain parts. All the while I was listening to the song, and after memorizing the thing, I would say "Hey that fits" When I'd come across a certain scene, then skip to whereever the heck in the song it fit, stick it in, and go back to where I was.... ¬_¬
But uh, whatever works for you is probably how you should be editing.
