Hey everyone,
My AMVs look sharp and clean in my editor, but once I upload them to YouTube, they get blurry or pixelated — especially during fast scenes.
I’ve tried different formats and bitrates, but it still happens.
Anyone know the best export or upload settings to keep the video quality high?

Re: Why Do My AMVs Look Blurry After Uploading to YouTube?
From my understanding, YouTube has a bandwidth allocation that's based on the resolution of your video. For example, if you're uploading a 720P video, it has a lower bandwidth allocation than if you're uploading a 1080P or 4K video. And the lower bandwidth allocation that YouTube gives you, the more your video will have compression and quality loss.bradpitt wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 1:54 amHey everyone,

So making sure that your video resolution is at least 1080p and in some cases, upscaling your video to 4K / 2160p can be necessary to preserve the streaming quality (especially for very fast movements)
