Do you keep your footage on your hard drive?

I was thinking of putting my footage on a USB stick so it wouldn't take up space on my hard drive. That way I can also work on two different computers using the same project. Has anyone ran into issues doing this before?

I have always kept my footage on some kind of external drive myself. It's never caused any issues and saves primary HD space.

I prefer to save it on Hard drives, I hate when something happens to my PC and all my anime is gone with it
