Turns out I've actually seen this before but I just assumed that what I was watching was a badly made AMV cut from the original footage of whatever this was supposed to be. And that I'd get around to finding the real version some other day and then it would all make sense.
This is just the least arousing porn I've ever seen. The animation is ugly, pointlessly seizure-inducing, impersional, soulless trash. The song sucks too, even as a bloated EDM banger that's not even trying. Is this supposed to be a profound critique about otaku desire and obsession? If so, it's saying nothing new or interesting at all. We've been over this before.
I get why kids would love this. If I was 12 I probably would too. But this is constantly getting repped as being important art, some high point of anime Cool, something that matters to this hobby and was somehow good for it.
If you like it, that's totally cool. I love a lot of stuff that most people agree is worthless garbage.

Well it was more about weeb addiction, but yeah it's not new.For me it wasnt so bad but didnt leave much of good impression other than some subtle stuff. I guess it's never got an official music video on the topic so that's the thing that it probably blew up : P
Still better than that MMO.
