What do you do when you're stuck and you can't think of a song?

That's where I am right now. I think I want to make a FMA amv but not getting inspiration.

If there's a anime that I want to edit with, but can't think of a song, I usually just edit with something else until I get a idea for it. But if you're really eager to find something, then you can always just google key elements of the show and add "lyrics" at the end. Often times, you'll find a anime/ song combo that you never realized fit before

tbh i just listen to a bunch of random songs until i find something i feel like editing with. l:(usally to genre im used to or i try to discover something new)

I've made some fma amvs before but I think I can make a better one. I want Ed to be the main focus of the video. I'm currently editing one but don't know if the music is right.

What I'd like to add/say/warn here is that for one you absolutely shouldn't force an idea. If you want to edit with FMA and don't know what song to use, don't worry about it too much.. ideas will come eventually. If you forcefeed some song into the anime, it won't be as fun nor inspirating to edit and the result will be half-assed and that will show through the finished AMV.

How the inspirations and ideas work for me is that I simply listen a lot of music, and when there's a song I like I start to combine it in my mind with anime series I know. When a combination just 'clicks', you will know it.
