Mission-Improb @SKC2K3
Was this the public debut of the first Mission-Improbable project at this weekend's Sakura-Con AMV contest?
I can tell you guys it was a big hit and I mean screaming chicks and all that. Especially when Nappy's little girl showed up. Good stuff.

It was shown at Ushicon also. Had the same kind of reaction as well.TaranT wrote:Was this the public debut of the first Mission-Improbable project at this weekend's Sakura-Con AMV contest?

NANI?!?!?
WTF... who the heck authorized this without telling me... doh... I suppose its out of my hands now....
-_-
*dies*
Anyways, if anyone could please tell me who set this up, I would be much obliged, I'm not mad about it being shown, I'm just pissed that the HQ convention version (300 megs) wasn't shown.

This was the first time I saw MI:1, so I don't know which section was Klinky's. I remember a section with closeups of Misato; that was probably itkthulhu wrote:How was klinky's Bebop portion received? Projectile vomiting or orgasmic moaning?

The place was basically in chaos while the video played. With extra cheering when popular characters - Spike, Kenshin, Misato, etc. - showed up.
CArnesen was the contest coordinator; he posts here from time to time. I wouldn't worry about the quality. The audio was definitely good, and the video was fine, too. The darker scenes didn't come through too well, but that was a problem with all the vids that evening (blame it on the projector).DannyWilson wrote:Anyways, if anyone could please tell me who set this up, I would be much obliged, I'm not mad about it being shown, I'm just pissed that the HQ convention version (300 megs) wasn't shown.
