I back... but i need help ^_^

Post by Dougy » Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:58 am

Heyz i bak... damn yr11 is a biatch... but aniwayz now i survived the 1st term i can make amvs again (YAY ^_^). I've scrapped all my old ideas and im starting again.

The thing I need help with tho is a certain technique ive seen used in a few videos. It is the tech where you get multiple bits of video playing at the same time but split up into 2 or more sections...

A few examples are like Koopiskeva's Evangelion amv "damaged (rei mix)" and Fluxmeister's Escaflowne amv "Souls of Rage and Sorrow".

If anyone can help explain the process or direct me to a guide that would help it would be much appreciated because i got an idea for a new vid ^_^... but i need to noe how to pull it off.

Dougy: You don't say what software you're using, but it can be done with motion settings in Premiere.

but is it really a good idea to use "premiere's" motion settings?

Jebadia: Thank you for your insightful and informative post. Your reasoned arguments and the plethora of facts you used to back up your views have convinced me to eschew the "premiere" motion settings. You did not give an alternative, but be sure that I will now begin my search for an alternative, no matter where in the world said search will take me.

Thank you again.

Now, does anyone have anything useful to bring to the thread?

uhg, no need for sarcasm.

I'm just thinking that the motion settings look bad (when changing the zoom settings) unless there's something in premiere that I don't know of to keep the image/video from looking like it is being resized in ms paint?

Sorry, but after two useless messages already (and that's only in this thread), your post smacked of "I know a better method, but I'm not gonna say!"

The only setting I know of offhand to affect it is "Better Resize" on export.
