Aerosmith's "Don't wanna miss a thing"
Linkin Park's Krawlin remix
Requiem for a dream
Which of these best fits the movie? also, if you wanna suggest a song go ahead, just make sure it's a slower one.
Which of these best fits Mononoke Hime?

I'm not doing this to be an ass or anything, but I just found it amusing and felt the need to point it out.Wildfire2k2 wrote:-Thou Shalt not use DBZ or Linkin park

*sighs* I knew this was gonna happen. I just thought nobody would notice. I wanted to put specific songs (In the End, Chop Suey, etc) but I wanted the list to be short and sweet. However, if you have heard the remix its very much unline the normal LP fare. Let's look at the plusses:
-a slow song
-a somewhat Celtic opening
-Not overdone
-fits perfectly with Mononoke
So, I figured it was worth doing. Now that you're done "bashing" me (and i use that in the lightest possible way), mind commending on either of the songs?

Heh, I figured that's what you meant in your ten commandments thing, but like I said, it was too good to not point out.
Anyway, after listening to the songs, I really can't picture Mononoke Hime to any of them. Not to say they're bad ideas, but I personally feel no inspiration. I don't really have any suggestions either. Sorry about that. On another note, I agree with you that the Krawling is a very good song, and has a very different feel from most Linkin Park songs. I've actually got a video planned out to use it as well, I'm just waiting on some dvd releases. ^_^

Nothing fits with Mononoke. In fact, that one song by Weezer has been contaminated, because it was NEVER used for other anime as God intendedWildfire2k2 wrote:*sighs* I knew this was gonna happen. We give out ideas, so you don't have to!

well, nothing normal. "In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion" by Agalloch fits, but it's already 15 minutes long, and you'd need to use "A Celebration For the Death of Man" as the intro to make it really perfect. The Idea Factory wrote:Nothing fits with Mononoke.
Not many people have the patience for a seventeen-minute project....
