Archive before or after competition?

If you are considering entering a video in a competition at a con, do people tend to archive it here before or after the con?

Plus: The feedback could help improve the video, increasing your chances.

Minus: Someone might "be inspired" by your example, perhaps decreasing your chances.

So what do people do?

Business? Hardly. Ok I’ll rephrase: "If you are considering entering a video in an AMV Contest..."

I’m just trying to see if most people premiere their videos here or generally wait for a con.

I think most people that send videos to cons wait and list their videos here after it premieres at the con. If you wanna go ahead and list it though, thats ok too, lots of people do that as well. It just depends on what YOU would rather do.

I list it as soon and its done, and if I don't plan on giving it out I just put the premire date the same as the con date.
