I edit for the lulz.
But if I were going to be serious... I like stories that have visuals. Music videos, movies, books with pictures, etc. Editing amvs gives me the freedom to tell stories that I want, with music and visuals as a plus.
I also edit mostly for myself, but being able to entertain people with a mere video I made for fun is another plus.
