I've been thinking of getting one myself later this year, but AMD is releasing their 6cores Thuban aswell so I'l have to think about it..
While that CPU is kickass, it is not possible to have them as a Dual-CPU setup (the same as it has mostly been for Intel's consumer-grade CPUs). That EVGA Classified SR-2 is only Dual-CPU ready for Xeon series CPUs. You'd have to step up to the Xeon counterpart (Xeon 5600 series). http://www.intel.com/pressroom/archive/ ... omp_sm.htmPwolf wrote:if only i could replace my xeons with two of those :QZephyrStar wrote:It will be mine. Cause you should've mentioned the Xeons, which are technically the same thing, but way better. |:Pwolf wrote:why are you quoting me? I already know all this which is why i said "if only i could" cause you can't
