Naw, I don't plug stuff I haven't done yet because it might turn out to be crap

Only stuff I have already done. Though in this case, I didn't do the light sabers- VicBond007 did.

About conceit and narrow-mindedness: The original poster is basically saying "well you should only use After Effects/whatever sparingly". Isn't that rather narrow-minded?

Absolutely; I already bitched out the original poster earlier in this thread.

Just because I disagree with one person does not mean I agree with the person they're arguing against.

My guess is that everyone thinks that everything has been said, and now this thread is just degenerating into meaningless posturing and the like, like 99% of the threads on Internet communication systems tend to do. It doesn't hurt anyone, and no one should take it personally.

Again, I really shouldn't expect so much from people, but we are ALL people, even the ones who are lam0rs and don't use program X. But I guess that = "nobody," since bashing us doesn't seem to count in your book. That's okay, it only makes you look bad IMO.

You're usually really fair to everyone, D-Dubya, I'm kind of surprised. But again, I expect too much of people.
