Imo, this really increased the popularity of random action, especially random action naruto and a bit of the editing style was influential. As well as the use of the song.

Where can I watch Jim Kaposztas's Star Blazers/Beatles AMV from 1982? Was this really influential, or just an auspicious sign of things to come?

I'm not saying that we're all entitled to the rare gems in people's AMV stashes, but something like that needs to be preserved and shared for history's sake, IMHO.

I'm surprised I haven't seen it posted yet, but the AMV which got me into AMV editing was good 'ol AMV Hell 3.

I think he was specifying ORIGINAL live action - while Judgie's video is indeed freaking awesome, the live footage is from a movie (or two) Koop's video consists of footage Koop filmed himself.
