Sony Vegas Pro 9 supports RED ONE™ files and 4K workflow. Get it now, bitches!

At any rate, I guess this will be the situation until Blu-ray sources become the norm. And then we'll be complaining about the quality of the original source (e.g. Air, Funi's DBZ, etc.). Those first DVDs look pretty crappy nowadays, but compared to the VHS versions...

Actually, I've thought of doing a video and making it 'old school' looking by outputting my final video to VHS and video capturing it back, the converting it unfiltered to some modern distro format. Kinda like how some recent Hollywood movies are made with modern equipment but manipulated to look like a vintage movie.
