Anime has ruined AMVs. It's true. Google it.

If anything, AMVs has INCREASED my interest in anime. I used to have only a few shows that I liked and only 1 type of style of anime that I would even thing about checking out. But now after watching some AMVs, I've expanded my horizens and gotten interested in more and different anime styles and shows.

total high five to you there! it's true, if it wasn't for amvs, my horizons would be a lot more limited. if anything, amvs are free advertisement for anime AND music.JazzyDJ wrote:If anything, AMVs has INCREASED my interest in anime. Lol you buy anime?prysm1 wrote:making amv's saves me money. its a step by step process
editing amv == not watching anime
not watching anime == take longer to finish whatever series im currently watching
take longer to finish series == dont need to buy new series when im done
not buying new series == more money in my bank
Maybe it's common here(i'm just new on the org) but i'm not as a devoted of an editor to give money for my material, when i know there's a way to get it free...
I only get anime dvds as gifts...lol sometimes , on my tv and pc, the DVD quality looks worse than something i could download, ex: first inuyasha movie DVD, the quality on that sucks.
And i don't think all amvs ruined anime, just the naruto and bleach ones, even though some are awesome, there are alot of n00b amvs on popular sites like youtube, where people don't even bother to download episodes, they just use gifs...god damn.
And people watching that, naturally assume that all anime sucks... when only naruto does.
They should start makin anime like in the old days, like dbz.....that was awsome, to bad they screwed that up too with dbgt, witch is just like a star wars rip off...
