AMVs = Crap? (Reallly pissed here)

I like Star Trek and Star Wars nerds, they make me look less "unusual"

It's handy to have them around, sort of like how someone having a really bad day makes me feel better hehe.

star trek and star wars nerds are just as scary as some anime nerds O.o

same goes for any major fandom that includes fanfiction, cosplay, and fanvideo

Interestingly enough, the organization that the editorial was written for was using AMVs as an attraction at their booth at Otakon.

I see this all the time in a professional 3d forum I post stuff in sometimes...seems like if anyone posts anything anime related, no matter how good it is, somebody comes back and goes "It's anime, so it's not as good" .....while 9 times out of 10 if someone posts a random Batman, Warcraft Orc, Starwars character they modeled, they get rave reviews. It happens

The tube really is casuing a lot of people to think AMVs are crap. In college I knew a lot of people who thought they generally sucked and admitted that they were watching them on the tube all tje time. I managed to shift their opinion by showing some stuff I had on my hard drive.

The tube has made it even more difficult to sift through the garbage to find the good stuff.

not really. If you wanna find good videos. Go to Our Site profiles and just Look at our top 10 faves or whatever. Go through a few of those. Find somebody who makes badass amvs, look at their faves or whatever. Just like dat :O
