After reading this whole thread I have to say this, and hope the creator is still watching the thread.
I find it very ironic that you people gang up against him like this, he's basically in the same boat as unicorn, and look what happened when he/she posted the SAME question question with different words?

I also find it highly ironic that you all belittle him/her like that. . . I have 30+ DVDs of Anime, and still use downloaded footage. Why? Because the 30+ DVDs I have are anime that I LIKE, watch all the time, and I thought it was worth however much money it cost to buy it. The stuff I download from other places is either A. Anime I don't have. B. Anime I dont have YET. or C. A small scene that I'm using for an AMV with various anime and that's the only scene I don't have.
As for most of you tell him to get off his ass and buy his stuff, what if he can't? And if he gets a job, most likely his parents won't give him an allowance(That's what mine did what I first got a job), which basically limits him in what he wants. When I got allowance, it was only $5 a week. Think of how long it would take for you to save up and buy a DVD-rom?!? Or even one lonesome anime DVD. Now, if he was an adult, and he asked for free anime, I say sure, "Get off your ass and buy/rent DVDs yerself" But I find it he is wither A. Living with his parents or B. Is still a kid.
And in that case, I say go easy on him and give him links to download anime.
You don't go up to a starving dog begging for your piece of pizza and kick him because he wants free food.
I've already made all my points, so I won't bother repeating them again. I've just noticed that since like, a long time ago, all that's happened is that people have repeated what they or other's have said before. The guy in question hasn't even posted since. This thread is dead.[/i]
