I notice things after an hour, what with the aches and pains and stuff.Dark_Yanus wrote:I love doing AMV, some times i sit down in my PC at the night and past 5, 6, 7 hours editing a video and i don´t notice it.
On that note, anyone tried editing with a Wacom tablet? I'm thinking of getting one to replace my mouse, permanently, before I have to replace my rotator cuff, permanently.
No I haven't, but I'll try seeing as I have access for one. I stopped using a mouse a long time ago, and traded it in for a rollerball. For some reason I have the feeling using a tablet would be bothersome.
My favorite part of AMVing is the actual editing, and those magical moments when you get accidental synch. Ya know, when you have the clips that you want, and just throw them down on the timeline in the right order, then play it back and it just looks right. It's just magically there in synch.

haha, thats one of my least favorite parts of editing. takes me 2 hours to find the right clip for a 2 second segment, and even then i'm still second guessing myself and worrying how well it will look with the rest of the video. The Wired Knight wrote:Sitting there choosing clips for each line and testing them out. Not the matching to the time but the actual selection of clips and seeing what works best and swapping it for other clips for the best match.
That's the best part IMO.
