ripping DVDs

one of the good parts of wwm2 is that it breaks down footage into clips, although sometimes with a mind of it's own. Depending on how well you remember the anime, you can then review the clips more quickly and take what you want.

Rendering in Premiere...
Sometimes it wokrs... sometimes a error comes up and shuts it down... and sometimes the avs-script memory error comes and if I´ve saved after this I have to delete the previewclips and start again from the rendering beginning.

And if all this happens when I am rendering the final lagarith output, than I am really pissed on :?

this is the first justified post i've seen in this thread, just cause you grow attached to working on a video, and never consider it "done".

behond that, if you have complaints about the hobby...

I don't understand how you can NOT have complaints of the hobby, lest you're an overzelaous optimist on a constant sugar high. I think it's reasonable that in everything, people can and probably should have complaints. If you have no complaints about something this broad and multi-faceted, you probably aren't approaching it realistically.

I think it's more a question of what outweighs what. And I think my creative interest in AMVing clearly outweighs my technical dislikes. That's the only "GTFO" situation I see, where your dislikes the hobby outweigh whatever enjoyment you get out of it.

There's no such thing as an ideal hobby. If you've really found one in AMVs, then I envy you.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

For all of this complaining...we still do it. As frustrating and tedious as AMVs are, I have to say it's fun - I enjoy myself. Someone doing this and not having fun, well that would just be torture.

Compressing. Mostly because it seems that VirtualDubMod is out to get me. Every time I try to compress to either XVid or DivX, it crashes after 80 percent. AMVSOLAh would have been done a lot faster if VDM would have been nicer to me.

i guess i can think of ONE thing i don't like about the hobby.
when people post my videos on youtube without my permission (which they likely wouldn't get anyways)

though it look like my video is the ONLY video this person has submitted. as flattering as it may be- i'm still asking him to remove it
