Somebody, I forget who, once said,

I sincerely want to thank you all for helping me along. I will try my best to be legit.

There have been many variations on the quote through time (and I wouldn't know which of them is the original), but I believe the one that you were aiming for was:

"The immature artist imitates. Mature artists steal." - Lionel Trilling

In any case, it's a criticism and not the best way to drum up support for your cause.>>

Well... you're right.. I guess I just thought of it and thought it belonged here or something. I'm starting to wish I never started this thread... I apologize for getting things ugly like this...

Picasso was the original I believe.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

If picasso did say it (I remember it being TS Eliot but whatever) then I'm sure he meant stealing ideas rather than breaking into the louvre and pinching the Mona Lisa and scribbling his name on it ;)

What solid proof could he ever give you? a picture? i can make one in photoshop EASY(seamless takes a little longer), his license and birth certificate, social security # and him to make an appearance in a music video with them? please dude, its not that hard to believe.
For what its worth, this whole thread seems to lean towards Jace telling the truth, and Pilkington just being jealous or something... im not a psychiatrist, i dont know the depths of whatever complex he might have, thats just what it looks like to me.

BTW Pilkington, i thought your little story about Tom Cruise was pretty pathetic... and off-topic since 1. hes an actor and 2. by what you said, you never even met him. SAD

OK, You want proof? He owns the house @ *** (address concealed to protect the innocent) Kedron dr. In the Kedron Village subdivision In Peachtree City, GA. He lived there one upon a time but, your right. I never met the man. I saw him one or twice, he used to ride up down the road on his sweet as Golf Cart. (Everyone in town owns one.) Now he just rents it out and only come around once every couple years to make sure the place is kept up. And, OK, so "next door" is a bit of a stretch. I live in the apartment complex just down the road. Still don't believe me? That's fine I don’t need your approval, and I have nothing to prove. It's your choice not to believe and my choice not to bother flashing my ignorance around telling everyone "Oh yeah we're buddies and we go drinking!" Personally I could give a rats ass. I say let the damn people have their privacy. There is not need to leach of everyone else’s fame.

BTW, you can now switch Riddlin Kids to one of the bands I know. I just spent the night hanging out with Clint Baker from riddlin kids. They were in town on their way home, and we both decided to go to the same concert. Simple Plan and Bowling for soup. Just thought I'd mentiont hat. So if I ever say I know the band some one doesn't pull this thread up and say i'm contradicting myself.

dude i wasnt talking about you, i was saying Jace cant give any proof to satisfy you... i wouldnt want proof that you live down the road from someone whose landlord is tom cruise(or past tense), its just too pathetic to care about, and i dont have a hard time believing you at all.
Listen, there are plenty of people in the world who hang out with certain people from different bands, and out of all the people you've come in contact with, you finally found ONE of these people, is it that hard to believe? either ignore him or say something like "yea you might be telling the truth, nobody can know for sure"
