Is everyone in their post-awa editing groove?

Trying to recover from my post AWA death flu (and playing the WoW beta) have consumed most of my time, but I am starting on a new Metropolis vid

I actually kicked up into an editing groove about a month ago.. before AWA and was forced to stop because I was moving, Now My systems are up and running (except for my web service) and I think i spent most of the weekend doing some actual AMV work, Instead of just doing free hand sketches.

so this is what I've been doing lately (aside from moving and dodging hurricanes)
1 AMV for myself.
Sketching possible ROS2 segments.
Working on some stuff for a client.
inputting AMV Idea details into my their story boards.
waiting on an internet connection.

Yes it does!

As far as editing goes, I have the RVG documentary to edit as well as a feature film, so I doubt I will be making any new AMVs for a while.

So far now just check out my EPIC AWA10 masters video =). It's 2 AMVs in one

Am I the only one who is feeling the exact opposite? After every AWA, I usually feel "edited-out" and take a break for a few months. DDR and the entire summer con season (May - Sept.) took it's toll on me and I need to just NOT edit for awhile.

Given I have ideas, but A) lack the source and B) the motivation. I *plan* on starting something up around November, but until then....SWEET SWEET NOTHING

Eh, I actually Died out After I did my segment for Kut-up So I guess I have had those months of Actual Edit free moments. Aside from helping others and sketching. I haven't done much. so yeah I know what you mean about getting Edited out.

i didn't get to go to AWA, but i am in an editing groove nonetheless :D

right now i'm working on my BoB/AngelicLayer video(must finish it soon ;_; it's almost a year since i started it now), an EoE/FatboySlim video that i may or may not finish, a Now And Then, Here And There video using a song from the new GreenDay album, and a trailer that i have to finish before November 9th(hint hint :p).

I didn't go to AWA, but I went to Archon this past weekend, and it's definitely got me in an editing groove.

Working on Short AMVs, and hoping that I get a spot in RoS2. Also will probably start working on a vid I've had planned for a couple years now. It's gonna be "Push It" by Static-X to Battle Atheletes. Also toying with the idea of doing a hip hop vid... "Burn" by Usher to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

Oh yes, and I am, of course, looking forward to helping out with AMV Hell 3 / 0

I'm now losing sleep because I'm far too into the video I'm working on. I can't wait to finish it and see the end product... especially since it's a 2+ year old video/idea.

Also can't wait to consciously delete the source instead of having another harddrive die. *knocks on wood*

I would be in editing groove...if it wasn't for the fact I'm also in a guitar practice groove and have amassed tons of extra homework somehow >.>
